DTE 504, A Note on Bargaining over Complementary Pieces of Information in Networks

Resumen:
Consideramos dos estructuras de red específicas, la estrella y la línea, y estudiamos el conjunto de negociaciones bilaterales para los pares de agentes conectados. Los agentes tienen información complementaria y negocian sobre los precios relativos de sus dotaciones de información. Caracterizamos el único equilibrio perfecto en subjuegos para cada una de esas estructuras de red.

Abstract:
We consider two specific network structures, the star and the line, and study the set of bilateral alternating-offers bargaining procedures for the pairs of connected agents. Agents have complementary information and bargain over the relative price of their pieces of information. We characterize the unique subgame perfect equilibrium outcome for each of these network structures.
