Semblanza Alejandra Elizondo is a Research Fellow at the Interdisciplinary Program for Regulation and Economic Competition (PIRCE, for its Spanish acronym) at CIDE. She is an economist from ITAM (Mexico), with a diploma in Environmental Management from the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), a master in Public Administration from Columbia University (United States) and a PhD in Public Policy from CIDE (Mexico). rnrnHer professional interests are focused on the interrelation between energy and the environment from an economic and a public policy point of view. rnrnMs. Elizondo has worked for the federal government in Mexico, at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Health, and has been consultant for state and local governments in issues related to health, energy and the environment. rnrn
