Semblanza Antonio Alonso Aréchar investiga el papel de las expresiones sociales en la toma de decisiones grupales. En particular, usa métodos experimentales para evaluar cómo la comunicación, el anonimato, y las redes sociales influyen el comportamiento económico. Ha desarrollado una plataforma de código abierto para la implementación de experimentos interactivos, y actualmente trabaja en su optimización. Anteriormente, también desarrolló proyectos experimentales en diversos países y colaboró en el sector privado en el diseño de modelos de comportamiento del consumidor. Cuenta con estudios de Doctorado en Economía Experimental por la Universidad de Nottingham, Reino Unido.
