Semblanza Susan W. Parker es Profesora/Investigadora en el Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas en la Ciudad de Mexico. Su investigacion enfoca principalmente sobre educacion y salud en paises en desarrollo y en particular sobre la evaluacion de programas y politicas. Tiene amplia experiencia en los temas de programas de transferencias condicionadas asi como la focalizacion. Sus proyectos actuales incluyen la evaluacion de impactos del largo plazo de los programas de transferencias condicionales, la obesidad en Mexico, y banco mobil en poblaciones de bajos recursos. rnrnSus publicaciones recientes incluyen: “Conditional Cash Transfers: The case of Progresa/Oportunidades,” Journal of Economic Literature, forthcoming (con P Todd); “Aligning Learning Incentives of Students and Teachers: Results from a Social Experiment in Mexican High Schools,” Journal of Political Economy, 2015 (con J Behrman, K Wolpin y P Todd); y Information and Participation in a Social Program,” World Bank Economic Review, 2013 (con D Coady y C Martinelli). rnrnCuenta con doctorado y maestria en economia de la Universidad de Yale y licenciatura en economia y matematicas de Franklin and Marshall College.
