The Master in Environmental Economics comprises four semesters. Each semester consists of four courses.
The first year of the program takes place at the Santa Fe Campus, in Mexico City. Out of the 8 courses of this period, 7 are taken together with the students of the Master in Economics. The remaining course, Contemporary Environmental Problems, is for the specialization of students enrolled in the MAEA.
The second year of the program takes place at CIDE’s Center Region Campus, in Aguascalientes. The content of this second year is focused on the area of Environmental Economics. In the fourth semester the student must approve a Thesis Seminar.
Finally, the student must prove proficiency of the English language. The CIDE offers English courses since the first semester for students who require them.
